Sunday (All times CDT)

- Breakfast  8:00 a.m.
Have you noticed the spiritual battle that wages on Sunday morning when you try to get
your family prepared for church?
Our Continental Breakfast is an opportunity to worry about one less thing and at the
same time to enjoy the informal fellowship with other believers.   There is a wide
variety of choices from cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, coffee and juice.  In other words,
there is something for everyone.  If you are new to the community, breakfast time is a
great way to get to know our church family personally.

ABF  8:45 a.m.
How does God draw people to church?
Most people are drawn to church through friendships and grow in Christ likeness
because of their friendships.  Christian friendships are vital in coming to Christ, and
essential to provide the accountability and discipleship necessary to grow in Christ
likeness.  The goal of our ABF’s (Adult Bible Fellowship’s) is to knit a small group of
believers into friends who study God’s Word together, pray together, praise together,
encourage together, minister together, evangelize together , play together and in all of
this grow together in their relationships with Jesus Christ.
There are four fellowships presently meeting and each has been developed around a
    different season of life.
  • International Harvesters (singles, young families)
  • SonSeekers & Yada Yada (Families with older children, Empty Nesters)
  • Salt Shakers (the most mature including some grandparents and some great
    grandparents)

Sunday School  8:45 a.m.
Running concurrently with our ABF’s is our Sunday School classes for children ages 3-
Seniors in High School.  The goal of our Sunday school is to build foundations from
the Word of God that will provide our children with an understanding of who God is,
how to know Him personally and how to honor Him with their lives.  There are currently
5 classes meeting, Senior High, Middle School, 4th-5th grades, 1st-3rd grades,
preschool-Kindergarten. We also offer a staffed nursery during this hour.

-
Worship  10:00 a.m.
What place does God hold in your life?
Worship actually could be rendered “worthship.”
It is all about acknowledging the priceless worth of God and spending our energy and
efforts on praising Him.  Our Sunday morning goal is to join together the individual
lives of worship we have been endeavoring to live through the week in a corporate
celebration of God’s character and His Lordship in our lives.  We seek to have a
blended service that includes a variety of God centered music.

- Evening Service  5:00 p.m.
The evening service can include a range of worship time, special music and Bible
    studies.

Wednesday - 6:00 p.m.

- Word of Life
Word of Life club seeks to instill in our teenagers  an ongoing lifestyle of love and
obedience to the Lord.   It includes meaningful and fun mission trips, retreats, outreach
and ministry activities that all direct the young person’s heart toward the Lord.
Friendships are developed with teens and adults alike with the joint goal of growing
    together in the Lord..
On Wednesdays, our Middle School and High School  aged children join together for
activity and music time, and then separate to study the living Word of God.    At the
end of the evening the teens split into small groups (DIA groups) to pray, discuss the
relevance of the lesson they have learned to their own lives, share what God has
taught them in their personal study of God’s Word in the past week and to discuss
issues of the past and present week in their lives that require practical application from
    God’s Word.

-Awana
Wednesday’s are filled with jovial children, age 2 through 5th grade(see below),
playing games, studying verses, and enjoying a Bible lesson together.  The pursuit of
Awana is spelled out through the acronym for Approved Workers are Not Ashamed.  It
springs from the content of II Timothy 2:15 “Be Diligent to present yourself approved to
God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of
truth.”   Our desire is to teach our children to be persistent in their goal to learn God’s
truth from His Word and live by the truth they learn.  This all begins with understanding
the good news that Jesus came to die for their sin and thus to make a relationship with
him possible, and a joyful life lived out for His glory achievable.

The children are broken into age appropriate groups to help them learn in a way
    understandable to them.
Puggles            age 2 by August 1st (and potty trained)
Cubbies            age 3 by August 1st (or 2 years prior to kindergarten)
    Sparkies           Kindergarten – 2nd grades
    Truth & Training 3rd – 5th grades
Theme nights are common for AWANA and bring an added dimension of fun to each
night.  The Awana Grand Prix, where they race derby cars together, is an event that is
    enjoyed by the whole community.
